The inaugural WDSF World Cup Adult Solo Latin Female was held at Belgrade, Serbia on 4th October 2024. MYDF athlete, Cherry Yeo who hails from Kuala Lumpur was the sole Malaysia representative to the competition. MYDF is proud to say Cherry emerged victorius in a pool of 34 dancers from 14 different countries.
It was a historic first Gold medal for Malaysia in a World Cup event and our national anthem, Negaraku filled the hall for the first time in the world of Dancesport, making everyone back home beaming with pride. Cherry is currently ranked No. 1 in the Malaysia National Ranking for Female Adult Solo Latin and ranked No. 2 in the WDSF World Ranking for Female Adult Solo Latin.
