TEN solo athletes from Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Sarawak made the country proud by showing the world their skills during the Mallorca Dance Festival (MDF).
The highlight of the three-day event was the inaugural WDSF Solo Female Latin World Championships.
All 10 soloists warmed up on Day 1 of the competition participating in MDF Open events in multiple age categories in both Latin and Standard disciplines.
The official march pass was held on Day 2 where all 10 athletes waved the Malaysia flag high and proud. Ms Tay Xin Yee was selected by the Chairman to represent all athletes to recite the WDSF athletes oath.
Our applause goes out to our 10 soloists with a huge kudos to our podium finishers Ms Cherry Yeo Xiao Wei for winning three gold medals, Tay Xin Yee for winning one silver medal, Ee Jia Xuan for winning two bronze medals, Madeleine Lau Yu Xuan and Lim Le Wei for winning one bronze medal each.
